This is a personal blog. It collects the bare minimum: no cookies, no profiling, no ads.

Who is responsible

When you visit the site

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address, browser and request time to deliver pages and protect them from attacks. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in running the site securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The site uses no cookies. Your light or dark theme choice stays in your browser and is never sent to us. Fonts are hosted on the site itself: no requests go to Google or other font providers.

If you subscribe to the newsletter

Your email is handled through Kit (Kit, Inc., United States) only to send you new essays. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you confirm with the link in the first email (double opt-in).

You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in every email: from then on you receive nothing and your address is removed from the list. Transfers to the United States rely on the safeguards provided by the GDPR, as described in Kit's privacy policy.

Links and sharing

The "Share on LinkedIn" buttons and links to other sites take you to those sites, which apply their own privacy rules. No LinkedIn script is loaded on this site.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. If you believe your data is mishandled, you can complain to your data protection authority; in Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
